Why work for us?

Specialized Routes

Say goodbye to random dispatching. We specialize in the Calgary-to-Midwest lanes, meaning you get to use our expertise in these lanes with the border crossings, the routes, the gas stations, the maintenance locations and the routine. You become a master of the Midwest circuit, not a lost wanderer.

Driver Centric

you are a name, not a unit number. You have a direct line to the people making the decisions. We provide the stability of a regional carrier with the respect and flexibility of a family-run operation.

Premium Fleet

We invest in late-model tractors and well-maintained trailers. With a 2:1 trailer-to-tractor ratio, our equipment is always staged and ready to support your workflow, reducing mechanical downtime and keeping you in a comfortable, reliable ride.

About the Role:

We are Green Apple Trucklines ltd., a dedicated fleet specializing in the Calgary to Kentucky corridor.

We aren't a mega-carrier with a thousand trucks and a thousand headaches. We are a precision operation that values two things: our drivers and our reputation. With our 2:1 dry van ratio, you spend more time moving and less time waiting on a dock.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • The Route: Consistent, reliable runs from Calgary through the US Midwest (MT, ND, IL) down to Kentucky.
  • The Gear: Operating late-model tractors with a focus on safety and thermal efficiency.
  • The Pace: Utilizing our drop-and-hook system to maximize your miles and minimize your downtime.
  • The Border: Managing seamless cross-border transits (we provide the tech and support to make Coutts/Sweetgrass a breeze).

What’s in it for You:

  • Competitive Pay: We offer the lowest rates to shippers because we are efficient, which means we can afford to pay our drivers what they are worth.
  • Zero Wait Culture: Our 2:1 trailer ratio means you aren't sitting around for hours waiting for a swamp out.
  • Direct Access: You have a direct line to dispatch and management. No phone trees, no "standardized" excuses.
  • International Experience: Build a high-level resume as a cross-border specialist in one of the busiest industrial lanes in North America.

What We Need:

  • Class 1 License (CDL Equivalent): Clean abstract and a professional attitude.
  • Border Ready: Valid Passport/FAST Card (or ability to obtain one).
  • Midwest Knowledge: Comfort with mountain driving and Midwest winter conditions.
  • Reliability: You show up, you communicate, and you get the job done right.
